30 week picture

My girlfriend Teresa sent me an e-mail nudging me that I needed to post another pregnancy picture. Here is the most recent. I am into my 30th week or so. The baby is growing and so am I. We are just trucking along.

Artistic view

Grant took this picture of his astronaut guy, I thought it looked very artistic!

Do it Myself!

I've been hearing "Do It Myself!" a lot lately. I asked the boys to get dressed and make their beds as I was getting ready for the day. Scottie came walking in with an apple he had gotten out of the fridge 'himself' and with Grant's pants he put on himself. They were backwards, but boy was he proud of himself. I was too.

Cooking With Scott

Scottie has really been into cooking a lot lately. I had made an apron for Grant a year or two ago during a Super Saturday. I wanted Scott to pick out his fabric like Grant, but was a bit worried because I didn't want Elmo or Mickey Mouse. I wanted this apron to be something he'd like and use when he was older too. He chose 13 different fabrics and would say "Let's think about this one" and we'd set it in the cart. I went to the back of the store and laid them out 2 at a time and he chose a baseball print over all the animals, farm, construction, etc. Then this soccer ball print came up and there was NO going back. It beat EVERYTHING! I even walked around the store a couple times and held up the baseball and soccer print in a different order. It was soccer balls he wanted. Here is he is holding up his fabric he chose (I chose the stars to accent it).
Scottie excited that his is finally done! Let's get Cookin Good Lookin! It took me about 2 weeks to finally get to this project but we had fun doing. Thanks to my friend Melissa who saved the directions I was able to make it.

Both boys in their aprons I made for them.

Getting Baby Girls Room ready

I made Grant carry in all the parts while Scottie and I wiped them down.
We're getting there!

They liked pretending they were in jail.

Finally finished! We were so proud of ourselves. Next is primer and paint.

Showing mommy they can be good listeners, so that she will let them paint.

My little painters. They had a ball.
