Day at the lake

There is a lake about 7miles from our house and the boys really enjoyed playing in the sand and rocks for hours. We went up to hang out with the church youth group. The boys enjoyed watching the boats take off full of kids to go inter-tubing. Had I known the lake was this nice, I would have been there ALL summer!
There were lots of little sea shells around and everytime Grant found one, he would bring it over to me. I think I had like 10 by the time we left there.

Scottie Played in the sand, threw rocks in the water and splashed around. He had a lot of fun playing at the lake.

First day of School!

Jeff has been accepted into the Oregon Executive MBA and we drove to Portland for the "Welcome Night". They had wine and 'or-durves' (can't remember how to spell that). We walked around with cans of pop. We saw a couple that we had gone to church with when we lived in Rock Creek as newlyweds and Jeff saw a guy that he grew up with. The class for the OEMBA is only 38 people so it felt really strange to actually know people there! I am so proud of Jeff. This will be a VERY intense program, and his classmates are all VERY qualified to be in the program. Some being Doctors, Engineers, CEO's etc. Way to go Honey!

I've converted

Alright, I've done it. I have converted over to Blog-y-ism. I have really enjoyed looking at all my friend's blogs, that I thought maybe my friends and family may want to know what's going on with my family.

Fun at the Fair
